Closure of UMinho Libraries on the Gualtar campus
Following the Rectoral Order RT-23/2020 and RT-24/2020, the libraries of the University of Minho on the Gualtar campus managed by the Documentation Services (General Library, Law Library and Prof. Joaquim Pinto Machado Library), are closed for an indefinite period.
Without prejudice to any other measures that may be decided in the coming days and in order to reduce the negative impact of this situation, the following measures will be taken:
a) The loan period of the publications will be extended until the resumption of the operation of the libraries, and all necessary measures will be taken to ensure that no user will get penalized by the closure situation;
b) The UMinho libraries located in Guimarães (Library of the University of Minho on the Campus of Azurém, Library Nuno Portas and Library on the campus of Couros) will keep their normal services;
c) To obtain any information or clarification regarding the UMinho Libraries, users should use the email address firstname.lastname@example.org
We appreciate everyone's understanding of the constraints resulting from the present situation, which we will try to minimize, in line with the guidelines of the University of Minho.
