If you are a former student of the University of Minho, you may continue using the services offered by the libraries.
Former students must meet one of the following requirements:
Former students must be members of the Former Students Association (AAEUM). An official accord exists between the Former Students Association and the Documentation Services, granting members full access to the services and resources offered by the libraries. Once a user has become a member, he must fill-in an application form
at the Documentation Services, and presents his AAEUM identification card.
If you do not wish to become a member of the Former Students Association, you may directly request permission to become a library user, by filling-in the application form
(also available at the reception desk) and providing a document proof of your previous affliliation to U.M. As a UM former student your application will be promptly accepted, but you will have to pay a small fee of € 7,50.
For further information please contact one of the UM Libraries.
