The UMinho General Library (BGUM) offers 18 carrels for requisition and 14 in free access. The the UMinho Library at the Azurém Campus (BPG) offers 6 carrels in free access.

• The online booking of a carrel (BGUM) requires that the user has a valid registration at the UMinho libraries.
• Each user can hold up to 3 active bookings simultaneously for a period of 1 month.
• The request is provided for a period of 4 hours (or up to 30 minutes before the closing time of the library).
• Check-in must be made at the scheduled time or within 15 minutes.
